How do I set up SMTP Password Authentication on my iphone?

Tap Settings. 

Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars. 
From the list, tap on your mail account.

Under Outgoing Server Settings, tap on SMTP. 
Tap on the Server name. 
Tap on Authentication. 
Tap on Password. 
You'll need to enter your email address and mailbox password as well.
